Vehicle Pick-Up and Return

  • Before acquiring a Car4Hires vehicle, it is incumbent upon each user to conduct an external inspection and an internal assessment of the vehicle.
  • Users are allowed to test drive the Car4Hires vehicle to verify that there are no damages or abnormalities during operation. If any such irregularity or damage is discovered, users must promptly inform Car4Hires before taking possession of the vehicle.
  • The user is accountable for collecting the chosen Car4Hires vehicle and returning it securely, clean, and in proper working condition to the same location by the end of the reservation period.

Vehicle Condition

  • The User must promptly report to Car4Hires any condition that compromises the vehicle's driving functionality and/or safety. This includes performance variations, unusual noises or odors, and changes in driving feel, as well as any warning indicators or external/internal damages that may render the vehicle unsafe. Examples include missing or malfunctioning signal or driving lights, damaged rear-view mirrors, and windshield glass.
  • Prior to jump-starting any vehicle, the User must notify Car4Hires. The User will be held liable for any losses resulting from a jump start.
  • At the end of the reservation, the User must leave the vehicle's key, key fob, or any other starting device, as well as the parking pass or toll payment pass, in their designated positions within the vehicle or hand them over to an authorized representative of Car4Hires. If the User fails to leave these items in the vehicle, Car4Hires must be promptly notified. Failure to do so, resulting in inconvenience to another User, will incur charges according to the hourly rate and late fees outlined in the Fee Policy until the missing items are returned, with the User remaining responsible for the vehicle during this period. Additionally, at Car4Hires's discretion, the User may be charged a fee to replace any missing items from the vehicle.
  • Reserving Users are accountable for covering all charges and expenses associated with the Car4Hires Vehicle throughout the entire reservation period and until the vehicle is returned in a secured, closed, and operational condition. This includes ensuring that all accessories are turned off, the key is removed from the ignition and placed in its proper location, and all windows, doors, hatches, sunroofs, and other openings are closed. Additionally, toll payment passes, parking passes, and other accessories must remain in the vehicle. Car4Hires vehicles must be returned by the end time of the reservation, and users must notify Car4Hires of their intention to terminate the reservation by calling the provided number.
  • If a Car4Hires Vehicle is returned after the scheduled end time of the booking, the reserving user will be liable for paying late fees, inconvenience fees, and any other applicable charges according to Car4Hires's Fee Policy. These charges will apply from the scheduled end time of the booking until the vehicle is recovered by Car4Hires. Users will bear responsibility for covering all costs, charges, fees, and expenses incurred by Car4Hires or any third party due to a breach of any of these terms.
  • The owner bears responsibility for any expenses arising from mechanical failure resulting from normal usage for which the vehicle was designed. The customer will incur charges or be obligated to arrange for repairs if the damage is not attributable to normal usage. In case of stolen vehicles or stolen parts of the Car4Hires Vehicle, users must promptly report the incident to the nearest police station with a detailed written complaint based on factual information. A copy of the acknowledged complaint should be provided to Car4Hires by the user. Users must ensure that the information provided about lost vehicles is accurate and free from discrepancies, inconsistencies, or distortions, as such inaccuracies may affect valid insurance or other claims by Car4Hires. Users will be held responsible for any losses resulting from inaccurate or distorted complaints.
